The storage engine is free and open source under AGPL-3.0, forever. Every storage feature is included, with no seat limits and no telemetry. We do not paywall the core.

Open-core, done right
We watched MinIO strip its community console and archive the project. VaultS3 takes the opposite stance: the core stays free, complete, and maintained. The only paid pieces are genuinely separate products (a fleet manager, an operator, a multi-tenant gateway, a compliance pack) that an individual or small team simply does not need.
